Buying 2 pc of the same watch

Just wondering anyone here that like a certain Rolex watch (or any other brand) so much that they buy 2 piece of it (1 for use, and 1 for collection) ?

I have two Day Dates and two Submariners although they are not exactly the same.
All watches of mine are meant to be worn so none are for "collection" sake.

FYI its an old shot. I got them back then for about $4k each (all full set). Sold them all off and made a small profit.P. Thats why.
