I were asked that kind of question some years ago. I just started working. The one who ask me was my 'indirect' boss.
For a second I do not really know how to answer that,I finally said "Have no idea. It is a gift"

      Ignore if is a stranger,
Just smile to those I know.
Sometime ask friends what they think?

Give him a nice smile. Say in a polite way, "Sir, I am afraid that my Rolex is real."

hi newbie here. hope to join you guys here on this topic. for me if a very good friend/close friends ask me, i will tell them its real. if not so close friends ask me. i will took it out and let them feel it and ask them want to buy or not... i can get cheap...(w/o telling them its real or not) . if they (expert) feel it and see it , they will certainly know is real or not. if they still blur blur then i will tell them best fake rolex in internet which can get usd 200-500. go order thru internet.

close friends will know it's a real one....

for acquaintances, i'll just tell them it's a fake. If not, they'll ask if they can try it etc. I don't like the idea of itchy handed pple touching my watches.
