Rolex Daytona Half Gold

Need some advise brudders!!

My mate wants to let go a daytona half gold with cert and wooden box.
condition is 95% but still got stick behind.
he bought the watch is 2006 in London, with receipt.
He is letting go at $8500, he says he want to let go to someone he know at this price.

need some advise whether it is really below the second hand valuation??

dont know wat series, but the watch got no pin holes, and the dial face is gold with gold bezel.
he is letting go at 8.5k. I know i can sell at a profit later on, but to tie down 8.5k at th moment is a lot,

My question is at the current market rate, how much is the watch sold as second hand with wooden box and papers?? AT 95% MINT

Brand new is about 13-14k....

Preowned? you work out youself the estimate. I think around ard 9k+ to 10? depending on condition

But one of the bros was selling a TT with MOP dial at 12k...so normal TT should be ard 10...coz brand new is 13k

13k was a few months back....that's why i estimated the price as 13-14k

as of last week , checked a few pre-owned shops their 2nd hand Daytonas are still selling around $11K+ to $12K+ for less than 5 year old models.

older models maybe lesser $9k+ to $10K+

I guess the 2nd hand dealers bought the watches high before markets crashed last 2 quaters so they may not lower prices unless prepared to sell with little or no profit.
