RSC service isn't exactly cheap. If you do not plan to subject your Sub to test its watertightness at depth, and like most people who will just wear the watch as a daily beater, I don't see the Sub being any different than say a Datejust.
Hi! I personally dont swim with any of my watches except for my vintage GMT 1675 which went thru an overhaul/service job by Rolex Centre last Jan 2012 and thereafter I dare to take a dip with it in the hotpool during my recent holiday trip to Korea.
But I wont dare with the rest of my other watches. I dont think there is a need to do it unless like what some of our bro here said - you intend to swim or dive with it. Keep the money for better use....hee,hee...
