I wear it to the shower, apply soap to the body, and some of the soap sud onto the watch. Before I leave the shower, I allow running water to flow over the watch. I dry the watch with the same tower that I dry my body. Body and watch washed and ready for next day.

Me too I wear my time piece to shower everyday .. Will use a used toothbrush to brush over them with my shower gel (LUX) every other week ... A luxury brand senior executive ever told me, hight end watches are classified as time piece whereas watches are refering to those less expensive one (no offend to any bro, I'm just quoting his words)

I used 2 clean my rollies every fortnightly but now jus monthly using a used toothbrush & liquid soap. Let them dry on the table by themselves after cleaning them.

Timepiece and watch are inter-related. It is how they want us to justify paying more money for it.

From wikitionay "Strictly, a timepiece is a timekeeping instrument that lacks a striking mechanism (e.g., a bell, chimes, or gong) to announce the passage of time. One with a striking mechanism is a clock."

                From http://www.thefreedictionary.com
"An instrument, such as a clock or watch, that measures, registers, or records time"

So now you confuse me, so the instrument that is on our wrist is classified as timepiece or watch leh ???

Both term can be use. No differences between a timepiece or watch.
