    hi bros, need your advice on manual winding rolex watches.

    is there any specific direction to wind the watch ( i.e: turning clockwise or anti-clockwise on crown )

    Shld be clockwise isn't it? Normally between 30 to 40 turns should be sufficient to wind the watch

      if wind wrong direction, will damage the mechanism inside???

        Is you turn anticlockwise it would not damage the watch..not worries

          Certainly if you consistently wind the opp direction. But if once or twice, it's ok lah

            thanks MP, i think you are right, clockwise.
            Turning clockwise is stiffer than turning anti-clockwise.
