  • dial change

hi all, my grey dial seems to be oxidise and starting to turn yellow/gold ard the centre of movement. is there anyway that a shop can "clean" off the ugly area? if nt, a dial change the way to go?
what the duration of a dial change (boy-size)?
where the best place that could do this tedious job and whats the damage?

    hope someone can help.

cannot be removed, but a good watch maker might be able to stop it from spreading.

i just changed dials recently at a watch shop (not in singapore), and each watch took about 15-20 minutes.

i provided my own dials. the best place to do such things are at a watch shop that you trust.

I was at Rolex service center this morning, asking them to change the dial on the watch,
it cost $650 and any service render will be extra charge.

So a normal boy-sized 34mm dial cost $650 from RSC? Hmm...when i called them recently, i was quoted something like $3-4K for a diamond dial for men's 36mm DJ. Wow, that's a HUGH diff leh!
