      • Almak, go around and talk to some owner of the pre own shop. Who know they might teach u some technique to spot for a fake ROLEX. As such, u can save on the verification fee liao...:-P
Desire & Craving will never end, save some cash for the rainy day. Just my 2 cents worth.

You willing to let them open up a case ? or you doing it yourself ??

Remember when you verify you are not doing a watch but the combined sum.... Case, Bracelet & clasp, Movement, Dial and Hands and Bezel even.
          ROLEX.

Actually, I mentioned Rolex pre own shop verification bcos there're some tread cited that verification at those shop are more cheaper than RSC etc...
Personally, I'll only trust RSC if happen that one fine day there's a need for me to verify my ROLEX as I cited in my previous tread that nobody will be doubtful if the ROLEX watch is verified by RSC :-).

            • I would suggest RSC although its more expensive, it comes with a service receipt that proves the authentic of your rolex

              • To get free authentication, just tell rsc that u find the watch too slow or too fast and send in the regulate. That will save u 107.
For normal authentication, if i am not wrong, rsc just (1) take out the bracelet to check the model and serial num on the case and (2) open case back to check movement number. i doubt they take out the whole movement, crown, etc...
                Rolex - SUB 116610LV /SUB 116610LN / DSSD 116660 / GMT2C 116710 / Lady DJ 178274
Others - Tag Heuer F1 Lady Ceramic
/ Longines Quartz / Lanvin Quartz

What to do, it's the brand that count. Similarly, servicing a Audi also has different pricing compare to a normal Japanese car right ...

                          • Sent my watch to RSC for verification today. Was surprised all they provide is a tax invoice that only states "service charge.... $100". IMO they should at least state "watch verified authentic" or something like that.

from what i aware they don't put that sort of wordings down. a legal liability if u think abt it.

i think it will just show model number and serial number, that's all.

so best to authenticate when buyer and seller are present to avoid misunderstanding.

                              my 2cts.
