i read that the only plus to do at RSC is to verify it is not a stolen watch.

Almak, go around and talk to some owner of the pre own shop. Who know they might teach u some technique to spot for a fake ROLEX. As such, u can save on the verification fee liao...:-PDesire & Craving will never end, save some cash for the rainy day. Just my 2 cents worth.

Remember when you verify you are not doing a watch but the combined sum.... Case, Bracelet & clasp, Movement, Dial and Hands and Bezel even.ROLEX.

Personally, I'll only trust RSC if happen that one fine day there's a need for me to verify my ROLEX as I cited in my previous tread that nobody will be doubtful if the ROLEX watch is verified by RSC :-).Desire & Craving will never end, save some cash for the rainy day. Just my 2 cents worth.

To get free authentication, just tell rsc that u find the watch too slow or too fast and send in the regulate. That will save u 107.
For normal authentication, if i am not wrong, rsc just (1) take out the bracelet to check the model and serial num on the case and (2) open case back to check movement number. i doubt they take out the whole movement, crown, etc...Rolex - SUB 116610LV /SUB 116610LN / DSSD 116660 / GMT2C 116710 / Lady DJ 178274
Others - Tag Heuer F1 Lady Ceramic / Longines Quartz / Lanvin Quartz

i think it will just show model number and serial number, that's all.
so best to authenticate when buyer and seller are present to avoid misunderstanding.
my 2cts.
