  • Urgently need Help!!! Where to service my rollie??

    Hi guys,

    Seriously need some help here...

I wanted to wind my 6694 today and when I pulled the crown, the whole crown together with it's pin came out!!

I can still wind my watch but unable to set time now as it doesn't lock at the second click position... Can anyone tell me how this could happen? I did not pull the crown out hard as I'm usually quite gentle with my watch.

Anywhere that I can service my rollie? Dunno RSC will do it or not as I've changed the dial and it's not the original baton type marker dial anymore... If they are willing to do the servicing, any idea how much it would cost to do a basic oiling servicing plus repair for the winding pin problem?

    Urgent reply need...

    Thanks guys

actually it is just a small locknut that has come loose/not been installed. all is required is a new crown stem (so my AD told me last time)

Guys, when going to 3rd party to repair, the replacement part used, is it orginal ? refurbish part or new ?

How does 3rd party get brand new orginal parts ?

All these questions always puzzle me...

I got the same problem yesterday when I wanted to wind my 6694. Just wondering if I am to send it to RSC, what are the charges liked?

It is very common for such fault for a 6694?

good things must wait de...i rather the watch repairer take his own sweet time to repair and put in 100% efforts than to do everything in a haste and ended up have to go back to him again...

Its normal.. a full overhaul, standard is 2-3mths minimum. some spare parts may not be available locally. A rushed job will have undesirable results. Slow n steady win the race!
