warranty only cover workmanship issues. as such servicing within warranty period is just the same as servicing outside of warranty period. no special discount, and definitely no FOC.

Bro, ur new car under warranty doesn't have free servicing ya? Unless, it's some freebie thrown in by disty during purchase.

Just came back from ROC wanted to repair my dad's watch after he dropped it and guess what? Now there's a charge of $107 should you not want to proceed after getting an assessment from them, they told me this charge is newly implemented this year. Few yrs ago they increased servicing fees to 2x by giving you 2yrs guarantee and now this? If only there's an option which I can choose to say I only want 1 year of warranty and charge me half the price.

this is what happens when some people abuse the system... and probably also because rolex singapore does whatever they want, and they see an opportunity to make money so why not?? i'd bet if fewer people went to get a "service estimate" no such surcharge will be levied.
