Personally, i prefer less writing on the dial....as in less clutter....so non COSC for me

Both are nice ... Personally, I went with the 14060M - COSC (hoping that it would be disontinued soon ... hahahah) and love it and would certainly be happy to pick up a nice 14060M if the opportunity comes along ...

For me no difference especially if you buy pre-owned. I will look at both and go for the one that fit my requirements in terms of price and watch's conditions and papers.

If i remember correctly....Non-COSC is using calibre 3000 and COSC is using 3130.....so engines different...not just the dials...

I thought all 14060m runs on 3130 and 14060(non M models) runs on the older 3000 movement? Correct me if I'm wrong

                        Sub ND 14060M - COSC vs non-COSC

                        Hi bros out there,

I have come across few sales of Sub ND 14060M.
Saw for particular that 2 pieces, same Z series, one with COSC dial (with chapter ring) and one non-COSC dial.

Can someone enlighten why these same model and series watches have such difference?
Also, the one with COSC selling price is higher too. Also, is it true the retail price for the Sub ND then with COSC and non-COSC were different too? TIA

basically, 14060 1989-1999 using calibre 3000. 14060M was introduced to replace the 14060 using calibre 3130. 14060M with COSC was introduced in 2007.

as to why there is price difference? rolex list prices have been going up almost yearly. this would in turn affect the selling price.

therefore a 14060 value will differ from 14060M. 14060M without COSC and 14060M with COSC will also differ.
