Is 116610LV a Limited Edition ?

Hello !
Went into THH at PPC yesterday and the owner of the shop told me that the Green Sub is a limited edition and that the price would increase over the years.

Just wanna confirm,is it really a limited edition?I never heard anything about limited edition for the Green Sub.Would anyone be kind enough to provide more details?

Understand Rolex never had any "limited edition"....LV was launch to commemorate Submariner 50year anniversary.

Price will appreciate when models discontinued but it may take years before it actually happen.

Nope, 116610LV can never be a limited edition. Before this model is launched in Basel 2010, everyone thought 16610LV (non ceramic) is going to be discontinued. 16610 LV actually commemorate 50 Anniversary. However, this model continues the production till 2010. The newer model is actually an upgrade from the former. To me I personally feel 16610LV is just a transitional sub in terms of maxi dial.

My 1st Rolex ( Sub 116610 LV green ) is reaching in the next 2 weeks from Swiss AD...!!
At the same time, can anyone able to recommend me some others pre-owned model that can appreciate after some time as I started to pick up this exp hobby.....!!

Most likely not, but confirmed when it's discontinued, say 20 years later, it will be a treasure!

Rolex 116610 Lv is not a limited Edition model coz it doesn't carry a limited edition no: eg: 009/500.
