Yesterday happended to pass by a pawn shop located at Toa Payoh Central near my workplace. Saw from outside they displayed one pre-owned 16610LV with chapter ring for selling. Immediately i went in to check the price. One of the sale auntie attended to me.

me: can i look at that third rolex at 2nd row?
auntie: tat one after discount $8.100
me: can i look at it?
she took it down to show me.
me: No, not this one, is third from left, green bezel one.
ok, she took it back and brought me the hulk.
me: How much is this?
auntie: errr...$8,100...
WTF!!!! just now that one 8100, this also 8100! so choon?!
me: i thought $8,100 is for that watch, not this?
auntie: ya, this also 8,100....2006 watch...with everything except the box.
me: what is the lowest?
auntie: 8100 is the lowest liao.

I must that the 16610LV is very new, condition easily 9.5/10. no visible scratch at all. would like to check with u guys, what is the market price of a pre-owned 2006 16610LV with chapter ring? My feeling is that $8100 is rather steep...

I think we need to clarify which model our TS is talking abt. Hulk is 116610LV, n at $8100 is real cheap. Bute i guess our TS is referring to the older discontinued model, 16610LV. So $8100, is steep.

How can a shop be selling the hulk at 8.1k...that's probably their buy in price!

According to TS, the shopowner did mentioned that it is a 2006 piece. Isn't the 116610LV with upgraded Cerachrom® ceramic bezel only available much later?! Possibly be a 'Kermit' rather than the 'Hulk'... just my guess.

Anyway, pawnshops are seldom ideal for watch purchases because of their selling prices.

Just an advice,never go to pawnshops for purchasing of watches,their prices are normally way overpriced.
I'm sure that watch which she was selling it at 8.1k is the 16610 and not the 116610LV with green dial and green bezel.

Anyway,if anyone's interested in getting BRAND NEW rolex watches,can PM me for more details.
I'm able to get at the lowest price.
