Hi All,

Newbie here, when buying a resale Rolex, what are the things to look out for? How do i know which year, what is the average market price?

At People's park centre, there are 2 shops selling 2nd hand rolex, and they buy back from you after a year (if you intend to sell back) at 90% of the sale value.

Looking at the classic Explorer one design.

There are many thing to look out for depending on how particular you are.

Box and papers does affect buying and selling price.
Do u like 'showroom, condition watch? This can mean the watch is over polished
Before alphanumeric series is launched. There is the alphabet and million series. Read the concierge section there are threads that gives more information.

The shop agrees to take back 90% of value. Please ensure it is written down on receipt. And buy back value =? The price you buy now? or the price the shop selling. Also when shop buy back is based on what condition of watch?
