how many bands are there in the entire oyster braclet?

hi guys!

i'm very new to watches so pardon me and my noob questions...

recently bought a 116334, silver dial with diamond markers from a local AD.
and after they do the strap sizing for me, i went home and realize there was only about 2 'bands' left in the plastic zip lock.
on my watch, i counted and there is a total of 10.
which makes up to a total of 12.

can any seniors here confirm if a new rolex has 12 bands?

Oh no... Confirm is 13? Cus I count and count, it's 5 on one side, another 5 on other side of the bracelet and 2 spare ones in the box.. Is the "adjustable half" link counted? I also see 2 "half links" near the fold-lock section..

I remember that day I was making my purchase when their cashier was closed, and felt like the staff was in a hurry to settle my bills and adjusting the strap for me. In fact he adjusted twice, removing one link during thr second adjust.. And forgot to put back into my box?
