Pre-owned ladies Rolex watch

Dear All,

I have just bought a pre-owned Rolex datejust watch, mother of pearl face with diamonds, cost at 5k, is't too ex? This is my 1st Rolex watch. How to identify the watch age, the shop ppl told it is 2years plus old, the didn't provide me the guarantee card, should I insist to get it? Is the model 78274 serial#y677838 real?

You seem to be posting here & there. Since you have bought the watch, why then you ask? Yes it is expensive. Then how?

For a peace of mind, you may do a verification with the ROLEX Service Centre for $107.

I think it's a pretty fair price. 2nd hand ladies DJ may be from 3-4k and you add 1K for each option. so assuming you would have paid 3 k for a regular stainless steel DJ, the math is likely to be : 3 + 1(MOP) +1 (diamonds) = 5k.

Many rolex ladies DJ somehow do not come with the full set of papers and box at the 2nd hand shops. opening it up at your friendly watch shop should allow you to see the inside and ascertain the authenticity.

Or, a visit to RSC could be an alternative too but it's $107.
