I was just in receipt of a wire transfer two weeks ago. Everything above is correct. You will need to know swift codes and the recipient's address and bank address.

I found using the banks website a great tool to learn about the process as well as supplying the correct codes. A wire transfer from Singapore to the US took approx 24 hours to complete. The recipient is also charged a fee as well.

$6000 for a new GMT is about the going rate in the US; MSRP is $5750 but after fees and insured shipping, $6000 sounds right....
