Bought 2 watches from them before. Nice and friendly peeps. Should not have any issues purchasing from them.

Only thing I notice is, their prices used to be very reasonable and competitive a year or so ago. Nowadays, their prices are pretty much on the higher side for preown pieces.

Oh well....time to look for another preown dealer

Nothing negative about them, good, friendly service and down-to-earth staff. Prices generally can't beat JW though but on occasion, a few rare finds at very good prices. Hope this helps!

Heard something about them recently too. Can't really share here because the information came from a 'victim'. I didn't experience it first-hand.

Understand you can't share if you are not involved personally.

I always feel that if one go public and say something bad about a shop or ask people to avoid the shop, it is only fair that he/she share what went wrong. Else it's not fair to the shop I think. Even then we have read many times that there are always two sides to a story.

I am not related to the said shop. My experience with them is positive.

if you an experienced collector, you may have positive experience with them. however if one is a novice collector and take in every advise/views they say, then good luck to me, i'm nothing but a big naive carrot! they convinced you that their stocks are all 95% rating, mint,, rare etc etc. And when i sent my new purchase to RSC, RSC advised me major overhaul required, same opinion concurred by another local well regarded technician!! When i went back to VT, they simply told me "buyer beware", buy at own risk in OTC and showed me disclaimer in the receipt which they probably drafted themselves!! WTF!!! I don't think i'm being unfair to them from consumer's fair dealing POV. if these shops are regulated like how the finance industry is regulated, their ass would have been busted!

Thought they have a 3 mths warranty or something like that right ?
I have bought 2 watches from them before an Ap & a panerai they used to be specialised or very focus on panerai in their early days...
at their 1st small corner shop....

simple reason - its business for them
bro, that's true for rsc but top hour won't advise unnecessary overhaul or repair unless absolutely necessary. anyway, TH opened case TH showed/explained the internal conditions, extenals was sparkling clean and new according to VT's 95% rating. A novice carrot like me who made his first vintage purchase from VT few years back would depend on seller's advise and external condfitions of watch; and won't obviously know how to verify internal conditions unless disclosed by seller. "buyer beware" only works on the assumption that full disclosures are made by seller for buyer to make informed decisions. for those used watch dealers and related pawn shops, they strongly believe they have discharged their liabilities once goods and cash exchanged hand and goods leaves the shop even for lemons.

VT may have changed operating policy, culture or owner. i'm not trying to negatively influence those who deal with them whatsoever.
just sharing my bad experience. agree to disagree.

I've not dealt with them personally but have visited the shop several times. Nothing wrong/bad in particular. It's just that the incident I came across correlates to what minimerc has brought up, ie one must be knowledgeable enough to make a watch purchase from Visiotime. Of course I can share.

Let's not use factual info but the case summary goes like this:

This customer made a purchase of a watch that was advertised as a 2010 watch and came with the original certificate. He made the purchase swiftly and there was no problem. On the same day or next, after checking the watch further, it was discovered that the watch was a much older watch and the serial no. did not match the certificate. IIRC the age diff was about 5-6 yrs

Visiotime was contacted and admitted that there was a mixed-up and later, found the correct watch to swop with the customer. I think it took them a few days to do that.

                              See it?
