Is this a rare model? Went to many, I mean MANY pre-owned shop but cant find 1. Only saw one at a Pawn shop - Ca*h Bo* and their price is $7800 for a 3yo watch and on e oyster bracelet

    Any info on the watch?

    Thanks all in advance!
Not rare...just that it's a newer piece so u wont see so often in the preowned market. That price is way over the sky

I bought 116234 new from THG at less than 7.8K last year.

3yr watch should be much less.

perhaps u could also see other models on oyster braclets for date just. Saw one in a preowned shop with the floral motif 6 mths old watch bought from local AD selling for 6k nett. Model is 16200 with domed bezel.

However, the watch that u see is indeed pretty.

              My first rolex - Datejust

              Hi all,

I am thinking to get my first rolex. A blue dial, roman numerals, fluted bezel with SS jubilee bracelet 36mm datejust. A agent offered me 15% off the retail price. Would appreciate if some senior here can offer some advice.

              Cheers,
              Rui

Based on current market situation, it should be good.

Thanks Oceanklassik for the prompt reply. I heard that there is a recent price increase. Guess I am too late.

Tried looking online for a pre-owned date just with blue dial. It seems not so common. Not sure if there is any reputable shop I shd visit.

Good choice on DateJust blue dial as I got one pre-owned one as well last month!!! (mine is Arabic numerals, dome bezel & jubilee bracelet though).

It is true the pre-owned blue dial are harder to come by, especially the newer model 116200 series. You can try hunting at Chinatown area like People's Park Complex/Centre.

                    Happy Hunting!!!

Didn't know that blue dial dj is that uncommon.. Agent offer me the dj with diamond, but found it too blink for normal causal wear. Hence now looking for normal dj. maybe I shd make a trip to chinatown to chk the preowned shops.

But I guess this will not be my only Rollie, after reading other thread especially the dd thread. I quite like the wg dd if I can afford it.

                        Cheers

Hoot Liao. It's a blue dial DJ rollie with roman dial. Chose this model over the DJ2, cos I felt this size is more suitable for me. Though I must say the TT DJ2 is elegant too. Will try to pose some pictures on Rolex Showcase.
