I have one question which been lingering for quite some time and havent find the answer from experienced seller

Question : Why most of the internet watch seller tend to erase or partially close the serial number of watch they are selling?

Whats the reason for this ?

I mean whats the privacy about ? its only a number and no name shown.

Its is to prevent ppl from copying the numbers then put on those fake watch... Cheers

some buyers would preferred their new time pieces serial nos not known to the world,scammers,rep factories etc.So better to keep this unique numbers to yourself,why tell the world...
