oh if that's the case yeap..
finally found this related thread.
1) Anyone can advise whether the waterproofing of the watch will be affected
if the bezel is changed. e.g datejust fluted bezel change to after market diamond
or white gold bezel.?
2) Where is a good place to get those after market bezels? I'm aware that top hour does sell these after market diamond bezels but the price of each diamond bezel cost around $2.4k to $3k++. Find it too ex.. almost 1/3 the price of my datejust.
3) If I'm able to find a suitable bezel, how much does it roughly cost to get someone skilled enough to install it? Understand from top hour its only a 5 mins job. Would love to get from them if they have cheaper bezels..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences in advance.

1) Waterproofing should be the same.
2) This you need to make sure you are comparing apple with apples. because its not the weight/size of the diamonds that count, but also the clarity. do know what stones are inside the bezel.
3) to swap out, is literally 30secs. anyone with the proper tools can do it easily.Currently wearing:

Reason why I ask this is becos one dealer "frightened" me not to get aftermarket bezels from elsewhere
as the bezels might not fit properly and may affect the waterproofing.. I'm not too sure how the rolex
datejust is waterproofed. If the waterproofing is mainly that of the sapphire crystal whereby the bezel
is later fixed on, i guess there shouldl be no issues..
Any recommendations where I can get a 36mm white gold or diamond bezel for my datejust? Guess to play safe,
I will get it install at Top Hour. Not sure how much will that cost though..
