Need advice on EXP II

I am hoping to get my EXP II soon.
1.White or Black Dial Price Diff how much?
2.What are the normal discounts i can get?
3.I am leaning more to get a new one but is it more worth to get a 2nd hand one?

from what i have read, the 2nd hand market expII seems to be over priced. and the list price at rolex has gone up too. from 6.5 to 8k *rough estimates*

In asia, generally, the black dial is more sought after than the white one. If you're asking about list price in ADs, then both black and white dials are listing at ~8k. But in the preowned market, black dial commands a higher price then white dial

interesting you say that, cos i have never seen a black expII in my perth AD, only the white. from what i hear the black is a "special" order.. i have no idea whether they are pulling the wool over my eyes, or its actually true.

i guess from what i read and understand.... the black dial is more sought after by asians...... but seemed like the westerners...prefers the white dial....guess it's just a matter of taste and preference ...

as for the pre-owned value, locally.... seemed like the black dial command a slight premium over the white dial as compared to brand new watches which is listed as the same price....

if one doesn't mind, say a pre-owned white dial explorer without lug holes...paying around 4.8k to 5k or so is a good deal......but most pre-owned dealers with physical shops will sell at a higher price due to their overheads....

After a bit of hesitant... NOw price went up to $6.85 this month... HE banging his balls now...

White or black face is same price.

for brand new pieces, the white dial is slightly cheaper compared to black dial. difference is about 200-300.

as mentioned that in asian countries, the black dial is preferred over the white dial. so if you going to non-asian countries in the near future, you may want to consider. however, do check out the prices locally so that you can compared when you go overseas.

appectable is about 10%. do note that cash will give you more.

also about couple of years back, the explorer II was highly sought after, discount was lowered compared to current.

agree with you on the 2nd hand shop comment. why risk second hand when for a little bit more you can get brand new with warranty and full papers. i notice in asian countries, many second hand do not come with box and papers.

very true. with price increase and my Oz $ getting stronger, with the right contact you can actually score a semi decent deal in Oz. factor in 10% gst refund and you are fairly close. now up to your bargaining skills in trying to squeeze my local AD to sell at a discount greater then 5%

thanks for sharing. my cantonese very rusty so didnt occur to me. my mando is slightly better... but my hokkien quite OK since speak all the time in perth (home).

that is true. all the superstition thing that asians are known for, like buying number plates without 4s and wishing for all 8s
