So far no have... But most of these shops and ADs really quite Knn... They'll look at how you dress and try to assess the likelihood of you buying the watch... If you own a rolex already, wear it there. They'll know you're not just going there 'see see look look' and you'll probably get better service

Yeah! At least I got someone that have the same thinking as me!

I go to AD only with my Exp II or DJ on...otherwise ppl think u only see see look look. Their service will be KNS without it.

It's true, the ADs especially will look at what watch you're wearing before serving you. Had once worn a casio into HG taka and the sales personnel's service really sucks. Dun even bother to come over to serve. Next visit worn an Explorer II, same sales personnel but the service is really 180 degrees change. Haiz.. really pissed off by them.

if you get service like that, I would suggest you don't even bother to patronize them again.

sometimes it is more of the way you behave...yr bearing/lanuage.questions etc.... but i do agree there are black sheeps within the service industry...

nt only the shop owner... even ppl that you meet first time will be 'influenced' by your dressing, etc.... it's the first impression la... kind sad when even the shop staff "c u no up"... :P

totally agree with the 1st impression thing..... sometimes it is not entirely on dressing.... i like to dress simple but there is a differnce btn slopiness and casual...

Ha ha that's me. Trying to see what will be the service difference. I usually like to dress casual to see which sale person is sincere enough to provide good service irregardless of the person's dressing or even the watch they wear.

I have read thu the threads between a real and fake rolex and i got a few questions to ask..

If any of the pointers stated is true then that means the rolex is a fake lor?? My dad passed me a oyster perpetual date model 15200..

But the green sticker on the back is not a hologram.. basically it is just a green sticker.. hahaha.. under the light, can see a crown and the number 15200.. number not in black color, something like under the sticker..

My sec hand is having a sweeping movement and the cyclopes seems big enough to me but i really not experienced enough to see if its 2.5 times..

As for the lugs.. i really do not want to remove the chain to see if there is any serial numbers.. too big a project for me..

Verification at authorised cost 75 dollars?? but i read from some threads that you cannot take back your watch is it is found to be a fake?? Really?? coz from my dad mah.. fake one also must be appreciative..

Thanks in advance for helping a noob..

                        eh. no papers? no box?

alternatively, you can consider going to a pre-owned shop and tell them that you want to sell. ask them for a valuation.

think some of them are experienced enough, they will take it behind the counter and open the caseback. that way, if it is fake, they will tell u.

your exp 2 might have a tritium dial and probably most of the lume effect is gone......

is there a T<25 mark below the 6 o'clock hour marker...?
the hype is true. listen at your own risk.

My sub date T series also don't glow much. Mine got T<25 at the bottom of the dial. Think it's because of age.
