Hi all,
I m curious to find out on watch movements. For eg. what is "in-house movements"; what is ETA?; ETA stands for?, etc, etc. I only knw little background like,
So how do we knw if a brand we r buying is ETA-based like Panerai, or originally produced like Rlx? Like is thre a database for watch movements?
Btw, i'v been called an 'idiot' to buy a TAGh for $2k plus when they r only "ETA"(?)???
Hope i'm nt asking too much. Let's share..
Thanks.

- Rlx makes their own movements (purely original);
- Most other brands used ETA(?); and
- Some brands like Panerai n Omega used ETA but 'modified' it n boasted their "modified ETA" to b their best.
