KIF vs Incabloc
Actually Incabloc is more used throughout the watch industry. But Rolex just uses the KIF suspension system more than other brands, who also use KIF to prevent shock from affecting the time keeping accuracy. KIF and Incabloc were probably invented by other watchhouses. The question is whether there is any significant performance difference between both, since some affionados are rather partial to KIF. In all literature, there seems to be not much performance difference shown, just that Kif and Incabloc are the two systems which proved that they do work properly and are therefore still in use today.
