  • Usual Selling Process: Tips Anyone?

    Hi Everyone

Newbie here and planning to sell some watches soon. Just want to ask the usual 'selling process' starting from advertising the watch in this forum and meeting the potential buyer? What is the common place to finish the transaction? Is it recommended that I meet the buyer at a local bank so he can simply deposit the money to my account? Is it ok to carry big CASH? How to know if it's genuine or not?

Please share you selling/buying experiences? Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for reading.

    Cheers!

cash transaction after verification done. if in $1000 denomination, wont be so many pieces right? if less than $7k, can do bank transfer $5k and draw $2K cash from ATM directly.

Some buyers prefer to meet at RSC it's up to them as they want to verify.

Meet anywhere u are comfortable with, not too ulu, but still discreet enough as you don't want to be counting cash so openly.

Buyer can choose to pay in cash, full payment preferred in 1k notes for ease in counting. Personal preference..I am ok with carrying ard larger than normal amt of cash...so it's ok for me not sure about you.

Genuine or not...hmm as a seller ...that's not your concern but as a buyer 1 way is RSC.

Thanks for both your reply. one last thing, since im not a local (im a foreigner working here), should i worry about counterfeit/fake money from potential buyers? I know its not common here in Singapore but just making sure.

              One of the method:
D: DISCUSS FIRST AND VIEW IF POSSIBLE.
              M: Meet to deal
              R: Rolex Centre to deal
              V: Verify at Rolex centre
D: Deal cash once verify original. Big or small cash also can.
G: Go each other way or go makan together.

anyone had a bad experience receiving the payment from a seller? is it OK with the RSC folks if you do business inside their premises assuming you went for verification? How about an experience where you thought the money is not legit?

u r not allowed to transact cash within RSC itself. they will kindly ask you to deal it outside their premise.

I did that twice, not too obvious lah, sit at the lounge then transact discreetly. Inside is safe and comfortable.
