Hi, I bought a winder here like the way you did.
I did some reading here and decided to add a timer on the power outlet to regulate the winding. Because I learned that 24 hour would generate over 2 thousand turns, the expert advice here is too high, and turn per day cannot be changed with this model.
So, I have it turn on for total 8 hours a day, 2 hour on and 4 hour off, controlled by the timer ( the timer work like a clock, it turn on and off the power supply preset). The TPD now is about 7 hundred plus close to 800 turns. I change the number of hours to check the watch conditions.
The result,
Rolex always good, clockwise, anticlockwise and bi-directions. 6 hours or 8 hours power on.
MM can only be wind with anticlockwise and minimum 8 hours.
Tag goes little faster on the anticlockwise and 8 hours. Now on 6 hours clockwise to check.
I hope this info helps and don't put your winder into waste. And welcome any bros here to correct me if I am wrong.
Cheers.
