My wife just bought me a preown DATE 15200 for $4200 is it too expensive?
What is the retail price now. I bought from peng kwee and is this place trustworthy or should i take it to RSC to check?PLs advice thanks im new here.

As for your queries, I can't comment on the price. Must see the condition of the watch and whether it comes with B&P. If I were you, I would get it authenticated because it's a pre-own piece. After all, what is $75 when already $4.2K has been spent on the watch.

The piece is very new and can see seldom wear as behind the green sticker still quite new . The sad thing is no box and paper . Going back to get a box from them as my wife bought it as a surprise for me and she dun know anything abt Rolex like me.

How to know which series is that ? I only know the watch is 3 years with no lug hole .

As for whether she has overpaid? In my opinion, appreciate the gift and thought from your wife and not think of whether she paid too much for it.

How to know which series is that ? I only know the watch is 3 years with no lug hole .

if there is papers, it should indicate which series. else you can sent it to RSC to verify.

also if now is 2008, the watch they claim is 3 years old, that should make it either a late production F series or D series.

F series starts from sep 2003 - mar 2005
D series starts from apr 2005 - apr 2006

Yes, its possible for you to change it to a diamond dial and frame (do you mean the bezel?). The cost varies since it depends on the grade of diamond used.

add diamonds to bezel, can be done...but Rolex won't do it for you. you got to go to other 2nd hand dealers who does servicing (like Bonfield..u can find out more about them at bonfield.com.sg..it's located at tanglin halt). they sell diamond bezel there..think they got dials too if i remember correctly. be prepared to pay at least $1k for it..


as for dial, you can get it from Rolex...dials with diamonds also cost around $1k...mother of pearl dial cost at least $2K.

If you do all these...it's as good as nearly buying a new piece.

yes, parts are not touched. ...just fyi, when they change the dial they also need to also change the hands.
