I keep only my spare watch dials in a dry cab with my photo stuff. My regular dealer told me that people who keep their watches in a safe-box for a lot long time (years?) without opening it have experienced deteriorated - too much moisture.

Other than that, should not be a major issue if the dial is IN your watch... and your crown is screwed down, esp since a rolex oyster case is suppose to be water sealed!

re: cigars.
The box is a humidor. It actually keeps it humid to prevent the cigars from drying out... so you would not put your cigars with your photographic stuff in a dry box!

OIC thanks for the info, i got the humidor together with some cigars from my custormer as a gift .
