  • Need help I.D. my vintage

    dear seniors,
kindly help identify my vintage and advise what model number is this?
what is the current market value? (just for my info, not for selling purpose)
is there any recommended strap suitable for this model, able to match yet trendy?
    thank you

look like 1601, but i not 100% sure.

just take off the straps & look at e casing.
one side should be the model, e other side should be e serial number.

I've tried searching the forum & google for aftermarket/replacement straps but no luck.
besides the usual crocodile, shark straps...
is there such thing in the market/singapore shop where i can get leather straps with tiger or dragon design suitable for this rolex model?
do you think it will be nice? any comments? thanks

Your current brown strap looks good actually imho. Classy. Or you can google 16013 with nato (or leather) straps for example for more ideas...

because of the pie pan dial and hands, your watch is (definitively) a 1601 - specifically, a 1601-3.

16013 is a later high beat model.

rolex makes a leopard print strap for their daytona.

just curious, what would be the model number on the watch case? 1601 or 16013? I remember its written 16013 on mine...

                          1601 on the mid case.

you might see 1601-3 or 1601/3 on RSC paperwork.

you will find a 3035 movement in a 160xx datejust.

a pie pan DJ dial won't drop onto a 3035 movement (and vice versa). hands are also a different (CP) size...

if the dial is flat, and you see an acrylic crystal, it's a 160xx DJ.

if the hands and/or markers are not the normal stick type, or the bezel looks slightly different from the usual, it might be something older than 160x.
