how to change bracelet without scratching

I'm thinking to change the bracelet of my GMT2, no pinhole type
IS there anywhere i can change it without scratching it? shud i get those small tool from eBay just for that?

almost impossible... especially if you use a single prong tool. if you can get it out without scratching, you're almost sure to scratch it when putting it back...

...even if you sent it to RSC, there's no guarantee of no scratches.

the best is of course rolex's 3200 tool... but those are simply overpriced (IMO).

second best is a similar tool made by bergeon. search the forum or internet for pics.

make sure to get the correct tips/version for the bergeon tool.

the best way to not scratch it... is to not remove it.

Get this horofix tool quite handy in removing the bracelets

Whereas to remove the bracelet without scratching the lugs totally depends on your 'skills'

You can try taping up the lugs but it's not foolproof
if you slip the mark would still be there depending how the spring bar hits.

I tap the edges with scotch tap. It is possible to do it without scratching the bracelet.

You can do it if you are experienced with proper tools.

tape the lugs

use this bergeon 7825. the tips are made specifically for rolex.
