entry-level rolex for female

Hi all,

Just like to ask. I'm thinking of getting an entry-level rolex for my gf. What should be the min budget to prepare? I'm thinking like stainless steel, white face, size ard 31-36mm?

not too sure about the prices now coz the price thread is abit confusing with the different dates of the pricelist.

Grateful if someone can point me to the entry-level (more budget ones) that I can consider?

entry level should refer to SS model without frill - ie no diamond dial/bezel, no special dial (eg MOP or meteorite)
around sg$6k+ is should suffice for brand new 31mm
eg 178240, 178274
for preown old models >10yr, about sg$3k+ with full set papers and box

perhaps u can consider getting an exp 1 for ur gf? the 214270... the pricing seems more worth it... u r getting a sports model for ur gf which holds value better...

mayb u can describe what style ur gf likes or usually dresses.. then the rest can advise u accordingly... either dress or sports watches...

Newbie here. . Was wondering if the 178240 comes with a meteorite dial ?

Basically I'm looking for a ss lady 31mm, oyster bracelet , dome bezel (no diamonds) with either the meteorite dial or black dial with diamond vi marker.

If anyone cld advise me on the model no.etc, would really appreciate it.

Agreed! Got an Exp I for my wife and she loves it. Anyway the trend is towards big watches for girls now. The 39mm suits her just fine. And hope she will wear less of my Subs now..haha

Start with ladies dj? My wife moved from ladies dj to 36 men size to Pam 44 and to Rollie 40mm sports ... Lesson learnt - women taste changed overtime...

The member made the OP in Feb 2013 and didn't appear in this forum after that.. perhaps his gf did not like the "entry level" stuff, and that ended the watch journey!

However, a Sub ND 114060 with its subtle bling as a present for a city girl in courtship would just look fantastic!!

I think buy something that suits her. I bought my wife ladies rolex in the past and I've changed her taste to bigger watches like Pam 48. Recently bought her a Rolex 116200 at 36mm.
