This suggestion maybe (or may not be) radical: Get her a men's size 40mm - 42mm i.e. Milgauss, DJII, EXP II - just in case if she's sick of it, you can both share it!

I am seeing heaps of ladies (with small wrist) in my office wearing men's size watches...so it's a trendy thing now.

    Just a thought.

    Cheers,

with that budget, you should be able to get a ladies steel DJ (197174) with diamond and even MOP.

you can change the dial with no extra cost, EXCEPT MOP which is extra. Diamonds are also extra.

Good luck! You cna't go wrong with this

        Triton. Apologies for the confusion.

When I said change dial for no extra cost. I mean diff dials cost the same except for MOP dial. Eg. A black dial is the same px as the white or grey dial. MOP cost extra and so is those with diamond.

This applies when buying new only. The Ads don't change the dial. It is just d
        Same model with diff dials.
        Sorry...

Can I Buy This Rolex With a $7000 Budget for my Wife?

              Dear bros,

I am new to rolex and this forum, currently thinking of buying a new ladies rolex datejust 26mm black dial with roman letter (is that called that?).

What is the retail price and common discount? Will my budget be sufficient? Very paiseh to walk into a shop without buying.

Thank you all for the help

                Hi & welcomed

I think your budget should be sufficient to buy what you want, new from an AD. I'm not too sure about the exact retail price (RRP) but I recalled it should be in the range of mid-high $6K. The 'common' discount rate should be 10 per cent.

And pls never feel paiseh (shy) to walk into a watch shop and don't buy. It is normal.

                Happy shopping

ADs are well aware that your first visit may not always close the sale; some people need a couple of months just to make sure they like the watch, before pulling the trigger.

                      Hi bros,

Pulled the trigger yesterday at Dickson. However, the retail price seem high at $9240 and initially, the sales say now discount only at 10% as controlled by rolex. Managed to nego a bit more discount but I am really not very good at that thus dare not step into a AD to ask price as paiseh dont buy.....hahah.

This is a ladies' size (26mm)? Beautiful. I'm eyeing one that is in exact same design except diff color dial and size but the price is 'mind-boggling' . Can you share what is the exact discount you got and how did you pay for it? PM if it's more convenient.

                        Tx .
