  • Explanation of Watch Winder Repair (Titan) Teena Low

    Dear, Member

I have not been active in Roc since last December due to my new born baby
Till I saw this unreasonable thread comment about me last night
    I cant stand this accusation

What I remember somewhere in Feb "LOVE Watch" called which is my customer in year 2010 claim that her winder one side of it was not moving so all I told her motor need to be replace the call last me 1 hour just to explain to her when motor need to be replace

Soon she bought the winder down to my place I told her I only need 15 min to replace it if she is willing to wait so she don't need to make another trip to pick up the winder she agreed I took the winder up and realize (PIX 1) no matter how hard I try to unscrew I couldn't seem like the screw is struck there no way I could turn it out so I have called and told her I cant remove the screw which I cant access to the motor too. I told her I cant repair when I wanted to go down to return the winder to her, My new born baby was crying needed to breastfeeding, I had to ask my maid to bring the winder down. Which I don't see any fault by asking my maid to bring when there is a crying baby who need breastfeeding (Comment in the thread was stated as if I was running away from her)

About 2 week later I receive a sms from "Love Watch" She claim I have spoilt her winder, she send it to another guy who does repair of winder told her the winder was completely damage. Firstly I don't know who is the repair guy that she is talking about. The faulty winder was right side as you can see in the pix "the repair guy" cant even remove the right side how can he claim the winder is completely spoilt please view the pix the motor and control panel are inside the winder. How can "the repair guy" give such comment

    http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...r/IMG_0914.jpg

I called "Love Watch" and explain as mention above indeed she don't understand how a winder repair is done
But go on accusing me that I spoilt the winder. I cant accept the accuse of this matter I told her let meet I will show her what happen to her winder then she say she have give the winder to "the repair man " which mean there is no way "Love Watch" could understand my explain. Out of my anger over such ACCUSATION, I told her let meet I give you a winder FREE(Worth $300) before you can take this winder I open up the winder to show all where is the motor control panel and how is been fixed. Why do I need to hammer ???? How can I spoilt her winder

    Dear,Member

The following photo is to show step by step how I repair a winder is all screw to open up the winder I don't need to hammer or cut any part of the winder. I have been in this businesses since 2009 I have repair more than 10 unit of winder which not bought from me. Running this business is my passion for watch collector if it was to make money then I will rather tell my customer no repair just buy new winder I can make more money. Every old winder just dump buy new one.

"Love Watch " Do you think is better to understand fully what happen then to post such a thread to BAD MOUTH me as a seller. Up to today I truly want to to know who was "the repair man" whom can give such a comment.

First I need to remove the screw dis-attach the cup from the motor
    PIX 1

I dis-attach the cup you can see a screw hole on the top right hand side once I remove the screw I can access to the motor or control board of the winder
    PIX 2

Inorder to change the motor I only need to remove the screw from both side of the motor

Was it communicated to "Love Watch" that you had to breastfeed?

Most people would be understanding if they know the actual situation.

It is mentioned that you say is right side, with reference to my supplied image, are you referring to the pointed arrow?

Think you should have explained the situation to her and I'm sure she will understand but anyway it's good that you clear the air. ... Cheers

This post by Love Watch say you returned the winder damaged.

Did you re-ensemble back the winder? If you are in this trade since 2009, surely you should at least tell her to give you more time so that you can fix it if it is under warranty or if you want to assist out of goodwill. As much as we can understand that you got a new born to take care of, returning a product that is not totally working shows what kind of seller you are.

Are these products QC? Are the winders sold by you manufactured by yourself or company or is it taken from a third party vendor. if these products are made by you or your company, surely your staff and yourself will have the ability to dismantle the screw. Just curious why you can't dismantle a screw since you claim that you have repaired more than 10 winders that is not your own product? Looking from another angle, it shows that you have no experience repairing your own winder.

Saying that you are repairing more than 10 units of competitor watch winders, are you implying that your competitor product is inferior compared to yours? Since you never mention about how many of your own winders you repair, if it is a low number, then you got no experience repairing your products. If the number is high, it will show that your products may have QC issues.

As a responsible seller, don't tell your customer you can fix it in 15 minutes if you cannot. Did you make a proper assessment before committing a repair time line.

You mean I have to have a explain why the screw is struck. I think I'm being responsible to tell the truth it was the screw that I cant take out that why I cant access to the motor and control panel or Should just anyhow give a comment is completely spoilt beyond repair

Now, I find it really strange.

Referencing this picture It clearly shows LEFT SIDE

Also the pictures from your post does not seem to show it is the same watch winder. If you are using it for illustration purposes, then it may not be appropriate as it could be be different brand, different models which means the construction of the winder may be different.

The issue is not about how many competitor winders you repair.

You fail to clarify how many of your own brand winders you repair and are these winders third party you source or your own brand.

It is not about giving excuse why the screw is stuck, it is like I mentioned, poor QC regardless if it is own brand or third party. An experienced repairer will find a way. As a responsible seller, you could tell Love Watch to give you more time to try to fix it but with a cost if it is out of warranty. Returning a damaged product back to a customer clearly shows you take no pride in repairing.

Reference to this post, you told her it is rusty screw. You have already explained and now you imply you dont see the need to explain?

The fact is also that it was returned to Love Watch with the winder not completely working.

Strange,I have return a winder to LOVE Watch left side was working which I have clearly explain to her when I return her left side still working. Next all I see this thread was I return a completely faulty winder to her

First the winder was faulty at right side the left side was working condition, Next all I see in her thread was the winder was completely faulty. Which I have state in my thread very clear "the repair guy" can give such comment that the winder is completely faulty I cant wait to see how he can do that.

You believe the winder was completely faulty cos LOVE Watch posted that - fair
Will you believe what I post here

                        1) Why do I need to damage her winder ??
                        2) Everybody has the rights to put the comment in this forum - True or False (up to u to believe)

I hate being accuse by somebody I make a point to bring a brand new winder to LOVE Watch House
dismantle the whole winder show her all the part and motor and I ask her "How can I damage your Winder"
After understand the whole thing she insist to pay me for the new Winder that I give her
I didnt take a cent I left I told her is not about $300 buck by accuse worth more than this money

I imported more than 1000 over unit winder per year every winder given a warranty of 1 year
I have customer whom bring back the winder after 2yr or even 2.5yr I don't see the rusty screw
if out of 1000 unit that 1 unit has got the rusty screw and I have check with my factory regard about QC
Love Watch winder is 2 year old the warranty I provide is 1 year
Are you suggesting that I should do a life time warranty on screw

I give this winder to LOVE WATCH Worth $300

Refer to this thread, one can clearly see that it is the left pod when facing the winder with glass lid in front.

I provided picture with caption asking question which you said it was the correct. Why I take the trouble to provide a picture? It is to ensure that we are all referencing the correct part.

Now you are saying that need to face winder. So are you facing the winder with glass lid in front or you facing motor?

refer to this post, it clearly says "First the winder was faulty at right side the left side was working condition, Next all I see in her thread was the winder was completely faulty." now you are saying right side is faulty.

Come on. Please decide which side. You have already inconsistent with your explanation

So now you are saying that the pictures provided by Love Watch where it shows the left pod is not open by you?

This will mean that you are denying that the marks left on the winder is not made by you since you say that the left pod was working when returned? refer to picture below.

Did it not occur to you that it is not working because Love Watch put in the adapter and power on the switch and both pods not working?
