Nautilus 5711 vs Lange 1

Just gathering some opinions. Which would you choose to pass down to your son?

Love the Lange 1 for it's beauty in and out but have concerns on its value retention. Love the Nautilus's design too (and THAT advertising slogan really resounded with me hahaha).

Anytime Lange 1 for me. Patek is way too common and commercialised nowadays unlike Lange. The amount of watches Patek produce in a year are way more than Lange. There goes the exclusivity of the brand. Also in terms of movement wise, Lange is one notch above Patek 5711 if you compare them side by side. I think Lange is too underrated which is a good thing for us! Once it gets too popular, then the price will shoot up.

Hi JWNY, I agree. Both watches are amazing, just different style at that budget. thanks for your input.

I do agree with jaegerman that ALS is very under-rated. I find it especially so in Asia. But I can see them gaining momentum to become an extremely remarkable watch-making company.
