I am planning to get a 40mm Pam for my gf as a gift. However we went down and tried and the original straps are much too big. I wondering if anyone has any experience getting smaller straps custom made which are recommendable. My gf is looking to get her Pam however we need to know where we can get a suitable strap first. It would be great if u guys could post photos and prices. Thanks

Try panaray? I believe they can make some 40mms. Good luck bro.

Hey! Your gf is really lucky!

I actually went through the same process of finding a strap for my wife too. The general length for a ladies strap is 115/63mm.

The buckling hole can be a bit tricky. You can either request for the standard holes or leave it un-punched, and punch the hole yourself after your gf tries it on.

If you do not want to punch the hole yourself, and if your gf has a small wrist, I would suggest that you can ask the strap maker to punch the standard holes but shift it upwards, meaning that the distance of the end of the strap to the 1st hole is shorter.

You can see from my photos, the white BOA strap, my wife is using the 1st hole as the strap is very thin (2.71mm) whereas the croc strap, my wife uses the 2nd hole as the thickness for that is 4.71mm.

Why not try asking the Panerai boutique or the AD to change the existing strap of this 40mm watch with a shorter strap?

Only if the watch was bought from Panerai Boutique. AD don't do exchanges of strap

Thanks all for their kind sharing. Tried asking the local boutique however the smaller strap is still too big lol. I saw quite a few nice strap online. Probably will ask my gf to take a look over the weekend.! Excited cant wait

if the Ladies 98/68 is still too big. Then most likely you have to go for custom made

I'm quite a big fan of HK Tan straps as well as Simona Straps. I belive HK Tan will do customized sizes but you have to send him the details.
