How to spot a fake pam?

Or for spoon feeding purposes, any kind soul here can share some insight how to spot a fake in general? To be more model specific 000, 005,111 or 112?

The fake ones i researched seems to be exact to the real ones.

Which official pam shop can i go to verify? Is it this richemont shop i keep seeing in the forum posts...

I think it's pretty hard unless those with movement that doesn't have closed case back, like my 359 which shows the P.9000 calibre movement, cannot be replicated. On the surface just by looking, Dial wise its really hard to tell and the replicas are getting more and more identical to gen. I have a friend who has a pam 111 replica and i really can't tell the difference at all.

one way for spotting a fake replica is the sapphire crystal. i read before the cheaper replica do not use sapphire crystal. under certain angle, those cheap glasses shows blue purple colour reflection. i recall last week, i spotted a uncle wearing a PAM which really have this blueish purple reflection
so it is a fake. i suppose....

Seriously this is scary and hard to identify. This high grade replica even comes with boxes, cards and accesories. just be careful.

buy in complete box set, with see thru back if possible, there is COSC cert with movement serial number and sticker with serial number to match with the watch. if you ever hold a original watch before, it shouldnt be hard to spot a fake PAM, unless its real case fake movement

Richmond does not do authentication. Like some bro have said, matching cosc card, sticker, watch movement should be fine. Engraving quality on movement different also. If in doubt, can go third party authentication like JW or TH.

Totally agree.. For peace of mind.. What is the small amount of money spent on authentication when you have already spent thousands of $$ on a watch.. Unless you dont trust the people doing authentication..

Yup, I second that, it is always good to sent for verification when you are in doubt

I recently call richemont
They do authentication but it take 2month as watch need to send back factory
They didn't quote me their fee as they require to see watch on site at the service center before quotation

that said, if u are worried about the authenticity of the watch, either bring it to a watchmaker to be looked at, or just walk away from the deal.

richemont will charge around 500-600.
places like jw and th, probably around 250-300.

if i'm not mistaken, jw is at international plaza and th at lucky plaza

Am I correct to say that if I buy a preowned PAM with in house movement and from the see thru back case, the movement is stamped with P300X or P900X, the watch is authentic coz there r no fakes that replicas the Panerai in house movement?
