  • How crazy are you about straps & buckles? :)

    Hey all,

Just wondering how much have you spent on aftermarket straps & buckles since you jumped onto the Panerai bandwagon?

I think I need some counseling when it comes to strap purchases, maybe join a "Panerai Strap Anonymous" Group for my "addiction, hence this poll.

    Haha! Vote away!

Are the Simona really great? Eye-ing the Gamma Diver or the Michelangelo.

I am planning to get 1-2 customised whilst I am in Florence in a couple of months time. I know Di Stefano has a rich leather crafting history so I believe I have to have at least 1 from her collection!

i think its more of a personal preference
one problem with straps though, is you have to try it on for a few times to know if it is suitable for you
what works for you may not work for me
but once you found the right ones, you will want to keep them and wear till damaged

Very true! All my straps are customised and I don't think I will ever sell them away!

Tried few Malio, few Zergun, few KH, few no brand straps. Sold all except 2 Malio... one of them is 74 serie.... great strap i must say!

                I spent USD$400 on 2 Ted Su; 1-Swiss Ammo and 1-Rubber. I also Spent USD$400 on 3 Greg Stevens; 2-Shell Cordovan and 1-Heritage Series.

I don't plan to sell any of them. However, I am considering to buy some cheaper made straps for summer wearing so that I wouldn't damage the nicer straps.

I have spent plenty on straps....
                  - 3 on Simona
                  - 4 on Jabba (from Romania)
                  - 2 on Vissuto
                  - 1 on K99
                  - 1 on Micah
                  - 5 on Kain
                  - 1 on Ted Su
                  - 4 on Toshi

And recently on this OP aftermarket buckle....

Buying strap is just like modifying your car....very poisoning. Bought a 10 strap-holder to remind myself not to over purchase straps!! 10 are enough!! LOL...

Gah!! Me too... Having a strap holder being made now, instead of all my straps being thrown in 1 ziplock bag!
