Hi Shuseido, I prefer my 372 with plexi. I was having the crystal swap discussion with him when i was comparing the 372 with the 422. I guess the catch is that you got to buy the watch from the boutique to have the possibility of this arrangement made.

                372.

personally, i think it doesn't scratch as easily as you might been led to believe. besides it's the plexi that makes the 372 so special, if you replaced it with sapphire, i don't think it'll look as nice.

The plexi glass does get scratches very easily. Even wipe with tissue paper u can see the swirls... according to my fren, a knock on wooden table created a big scratch on his 372.

If that's the case, if i wear it with my long sleeve biz shirt, will the friction of the sleeve edge on the plexi cause the swirl mark?

Having 2nd thoughts of getting one now

Why waste the money? With sapphire crystal the watch looks different. If you put 372 and 422 together, you will definitely prefer the plexiglass!

I will say don't need to be paranoid of getting scratches. They can easily be polished away yourself, and there's a 2nd plexi glass included in the standard package.

A watch is meant to be worn... if u are still worried, I guess just get a sapphire glass model. But then it's a diff piece altogether

The design of the 372 wins hands down. That said, one is a 44mm while the other is a 47mm. One has to try it on the wrist. My wrist are way too small to carry off the 372, so I sold it and got a Rolex Sub C after 2 weeks of usage.

372 is really nice but the scratches does get annoying in the long run. Maybe a 422 will suit you well.

I have a 176 now... in the long run if I decide to replace my base, the 372 ranks very highly on the list of watches! 47 mm but with a lower case and slimmer lugs makes it wear closer to the 44 mm watches.
