Any comments on Pam 212? 1950 Flyback model

Well, it's one of the few models (sometimes the only..) you see when you walk into an AD.. most Pams are usually out of stock.. does that say anything?
I actually like the watch.. but for the asking price, you do think carefully of the other Pam (more historic) models that you can buy instead..
But to each his own -
One day....it may be popular like Rolex Sports model...one day..perhaps 10 years down the road. Anyway, buy it if you like it. Lucky you if it turns out to be very valuable one day...I own a Rolex !

Strangely PAM 212 is not too popular with our local watch enthusiasts.
Personally, I find the watch to be rather attractive overall with its
chrono and flyback function. I believe it is the cheapest PAM watch on
a Luminor 1950 case with an unusual sapphire crystal cambering at the
edges.
It is quite rare to find a pre-owned piece on sale in the market.
I wonder why?
