Pam 104 is also my 1st Pam but mine is the bracelet version (Pam 299)

I think the 104 rocks pretty well with the oem rubber strap. Probably a black sharkskin or gator strap will pair it pretty well too.

Yap.. The Pam 104 comes with an original black alligator strap and the Deployment clasp. Can easily change onto other strap too. Haven looked at gunny strap but saw a black carbon fiber with red stitching strap in strap code.

Not all the panerai comes with the deployment clasp. Some comes with the tang buckle..

clasp is better i feel, as least the watch wont slip off from ur wrist while u r wearing it

Yup.. but not all straps can fit into the clasp. U muz find those that is tapered or 24/22mm den it can be fitted in.
Most panerai straps are 24/24mm and the thickness is 4-5mm.
