Need so advice from gurus out here. .


I m actually looking for crystal replacement for my pam 320.

Besides richemont is there any places that can get cheaper ones?

Was being quoted $380 for crystal
And $200 for labour from agent...

If you are ok with aftermarket, get it off Ebay and then pop into Top Hour @ Lucky Plaza and get Mr Lim to fix it.
Should easily save you a few S$100s.
BUT after that, never ever bring your watch swimming...splashes from day to day use eg go toilet hand washing etc is fine, but anything more, even shower, I will advise no.

If you don't mind me asking what is wrong with the crystal ?
The Sapphire Crystal should be lasting.

If you pay $500 for a crystal change, this is what you should be expecting in return.
Service performed :
Inspection for damage on crystal and bezel.
Open the case back, remove the entire movement. (This is a important step).
Remove org crystal, depend on the construction of the watch assembly, sometime the bezel need to remove and the gasket also.
Fix the new crystal with the new gasket (This is a important step), the old one a discarded.
Close the watch case back and screw in the watch crown (No movement in the watch) !
Test the watch case for water leak ! (This is a important step for changing the watch bezel and crystal).
Pass water seal test, proceed to install movement back into case.
Fail water seal test inspect for leakage and repair/service the damage.

was quoted $560 by Richmonte. Honestly I will go back to them even though the price is steep just bec it is considered a major fitting change imo.

I also suggest going back to Richmont for servicing.
Not sure if there will be any warranty after full service.

I know Ball Watch did provide 1 year warranty after full service.
