Does your Pam 005 Anti-Reflection coating reflects any purple/blue tinge?

Hi everyone,

I will appreciate your share of experience if your Pam 005's Anti-Reflection coating on the sapphire crystal reflects any purple/blue tinge? How about anyone's Pam 005 which doesn't reflect any colour under normal white light? Thank you for your response in advance. Cheers.

I bought my 005 from Panerai Ion this year. No blue tinge observed under white light.

Hi guys, thank you for the sharing. Apparently, my Pam 005 (O series) which was bought from Milan boutique recently, has a faint purple tinge reflection (under white light) and I wonder what's the standard we should receive in this case- one which reflects a colored tinge or not. So far Bro Paradigm Pam 005 from Ion boutique is a credible source of reference for non-colored reflection. Thus, I wonder should such noticeable discrepancy on the sapphire crystal be reasonable for a "coveted" watch brand- especially same model same year pieces? From what I notice from my friends' other Pam model, they do have a slight purple/blue tinge too, albeit their models are from the past years series. Nonetheless, pardon my paranoia and I will be glad to hear more experience from other forum-er too. Cheers~

both my 000 and 388 do not have purple tinge.

Yes

Yes for base pam got slight blue purple but not tint it is blue reflection when u see at 45 anger with under brighter spot light.But for 1950 n 1940,radiomir u might not see this effect maybe because flatter glass(base pams(owned)) compare to curve glass(1950(owned),1940 ,radiomir(owned).
