PAM 441 is a nice watch as I've seen and wore it on my wrist. the color contrast between the matt black ceramic case, cream color number markers and assoulemente strap is perfect. Would have preferred if less numbers on the dial and the case was 47mm case size.

Actually Lee I have something for these 1-12 dials, too! As for the color combination, it IS beautiful. Price/(investment ) wise I'm seeing them around sold for from $12,850 at what looks like a decent website, all the way to $18,000! I can source a brand new from boutique. Is it worth putting cash in it, to wear, then sell on, u think?

Ceramic pams are not so popular IMO. Same for composites.

Like PVD, DLC coatings, once got scratched or chipped there is no real way of turning back.

But the Matt ceramic surface is beautiful.

I meant I like those 1-12 dials, as well as the simpler ones.

So how does the 441 compare with, say, the sought after 339? I can see the simpler dial issue ofcourse, but what I'm seeing here is that the material itself (ceramic or composite?) did not stop it from bring sought after...

PAM 339 - Special Edition model, 47mm Composite dark brown case, rare Marina Militare dial, 8 day movement

PAM 441 - Standard model, 44mm Ceramic black case, P9000 automatic movement

you simply can't compare the two.

I checked with Boutique Thursday night if it's available. He said we can get it for you in a day or two. I told him I'll let him know. Yesterday just dropped by for a chat about it, and it's SOLD
I now dread the day I saw the 339 at a friend dealer boutique and did not grab it, like a Frenchman did a week later I was told

Saw the 441 and tired it too. It's nice, but can't make myself buy it.
Holding out to view the ceramic with bracelet, hope it will look more special.
After so many years the pam look is starting to tire.

Ceramic is 5 times harder than stainless steel n IMO it's not easily chipped or scratched compare to Composite ones.

I think official Panerai literature has hardness of composite being marginally higher than ceramic, IIRC. I love ceramic watches, but do note that it's not impossible to scratch in real world conditions. I brushed my GMT (ceramic bezel) against a stone post and that left scratches. Like can scratch like, so you need to be careful as well.
