You can take the watches back into Singapore first. And have them ship you the boxes later. I don't think buy empty boxes got GST.
buy 10 watches and cannot choose model??? it depends on whether you or them is more desperate. hahahahaha.

personally i won't go for this kind of deal coz not reselling any watches means your potential savings from the bulk purchase is all gone. i would go for the model i like, pay retail price in Euro and get the VAT refund which is more than enough for a good deal.

Even as an assumption, 20% discount is a little far off
        They usually give 0-5% only

we do get excited very easily when it comes to getting a good deal on Panerai watches. kekekeke

if i'm going Europe i don't mind bringing 1 or 2 watches back for close friends but 5-10 watches is no no. if you get caught by customs for gst evasion, the penalty is heavy.

20% off from an AD when I am in HK (not europe). afew model to pick e.g. 320, 305, 307, etc.
            So 20% still possible.

at present i would rate panerai (with in-house movement) to be more expensive than rolex for models with similar functions.

others please feel free to comment also.

i used to shun away from panerai until recent few years when they started producing their inhouse movement (p2ks and p9ks)

I don't think you can find any dealer in Europe giving 20%. They buy their watches in Swiss francs, so exchange rate movements hurt them too. The most they've given me is 5%, sometimes zero even if I buy a few. But it's already cheaper just with VAT refund.

Agree... plus Rolex don't bother with high end Complications, they don't need to as they have a good reputation already.

                              Thought so too
5% discount would be very good deal
