The 448 have yet to be released yet. It is a 47mm Cali dial Special Edition model using the new P3000 movement of which 750 pieces available worldwide. Retail US$9,100.

Impossible to get? well you can try calling Panerai boutiques and put your name down on the reservation list. I'm sure it will be available from resellers once the watch is released but be prepared to pay a premium for it. It is after all a remake of a classic model PAM 249.

Will have a chance to view the new 2012 models this weekend. Definitely 448 and 449 is on my radar.

If you can't get the 448, can always consider the non limited edtion 424 (gold hands, logo on dial and date display).
