White dial panerai not very popular???

This, I'm not too sure, because brown dial watches have been always around albeit in smaller quantities/lesser model types. Examples you have are the Omega Speedmaster, Tag Heuer Carrera Day-Date Chrono, Panerai (PAM240), etc. How popular are they now? I'm not sure.

I observed from the forum, the black dail models are more popular among owners as compared to the white dail models. Is the white face models like the 114, 113 n 049 not so popular?

I am not into white dial Panerais, and not sure about others.

I think they look cheap.... the only white dial watch I like is the Rolex Ex2 42mm

Despite not owning any Panerai, I feel the black is better. If I am not wrong, I like sandwich dial which is only available for black. The white dial, thus, not available for sandwich dial so may be not so popular.

There is tobacco sandwich dial too....though it may look black if one not seeing carefully.

yea, it's kinda like 2 tone which I like... will make my next pam a tobacco sandwich dial one

This is easily the only sport watch that looks great in white dial, the black dial version is less appealing.

White dial Pam just lacks something. Perhaps it has to do with history of Pam being a tool watch for military personnel and black/ dark colour is the preferred colour for stealth reasons.

So right on Ex2 White. As for white PAM I think they look bad because the dial has "no detail"... I mean it's all smooth, nothing.... looks like it's made at home... hahahaha

I was wondering if the white face models are so limited n unpopular, Panerai shd just drop the white range and concentrate on the more popular black face model. Surprisngly i found they also had a blue face model but only in their Luminor Chrono daylight model (326). Looks nice too

I guess blackis much easier to match with clothes then white..
