Please don't think of watches as "investments". 99.9% are not investment pieces and those that are generally beyond many of our reach. Buy what you like - wear it and when you get tired, trade or sell but don't expect a gain.
Secondly, what are you buying? Brand or watch? Many of the "higher end" brands use ETA movements in their lower range. But they are upwards of $6k discounted. So much of the money you pay goes to marketing, advertising and paying celebrities to wear their watches.
Anyway, enjoy the watch for what it is... don't think resale value, don't think Stallone. Think YOU. What do YOU like and want.
