        Great links. Thanks folks.

One more questions, what would be a good model to start? I am actually looking at a more affordable model such as 00000 or the 111.

Just to clarify, you're looking at the more affordable models as investment (as per your earlier post)?

No offence, but I wouldn't deem the 000 or 111 as investment pieces.

General Panerai watches is subject to price drop too after purchase. Because they are considered used watches. Investment wise, i don't know and the future nobody knows.

I guess 'gains' from investment in watches are not necessary monetary. It could be spiritual and the happiness of reading time from your watch.

I find myself looking at the time more often nowadays and sometimes staring at my watch for 5 seconds or more...
              In my possession

                i don't recommend u reading the sites/forum.
Cuz the more u know, the harder it is to make a decision.

it is good to learn about the history behind the brand. go the the OP Boutique and ask for a 2011 catalog (coz the 2012 is not out yet). plenty of information in there.

as for which model to buy, watches are mostly personal preferences. most important buy what appeal most to you and not what others tell you.

                        Bro,

Buy what you like is the most important. Don't think of resale value as all prices will drop after it is preowned. If you really thinking about investment, buy those SE or LE ones. They will command high resale value after some time. But don't know when...haha

                        Cheers
                        Don't worry, be happy
