My brother's Pam312 has a very tiny scratch/chip on the watch crystal (it looks like a tiny white speck of dust), he probably accidentally knocked his watch against something without realising it, the 1950 case is big afterall.
Question to seniors here... after sending in the watch to Richemont to change the crystal, will there be a risk of waterproof issue since they need to remove the factory-pressure-tested-and-fitted-crystal and fit a new one in locally?
By the way, Richemont quoted him $300+ (including labour) to change the crystal. I was surprised and find it quite reasonable :-)
